Remote User Systems

The Remote User is a simple and inexpensive software system for call centers that maintain computerized in-house Call and Client records but do not maintain an in-house resource database.

This software solution is designed for an I&R collaborative that does not have WAN or Internet connectivity between their remote call centers but needs a way to provide resource data from a central site to the other remote call centers.

The Remote User system uses the same Call/Contact and Reports Module features found in the full Refer or Alliance Network Windows software. Resource data is provided directly by another I&R organization using any RTM Designs’ full I&R software system or may be imported from other software via the AIRS XML Transfer data set.

Additionally, call/contact data from each remote location may be integrated centrally for reporting and statistical purposes.

Resource data is generally sent to each remote user by email, FTP, CD or modem. Resource data is automatically zipped at the central agency for easy transport and extracted with the click of a button at the remote user’s site.

Advantages:

  • Connection between sites is not needed (DSL, T1 or dial up)
  • All locations share a common resource database
  • Data and format standards are shared
  • Allows central data collection and reporting
  • Inexpensive to purchase and maintain
